FAQs
Got questions? We’ve got answers
At Energie Solutions, we like to keep our customers fully informed and ensure they have all the details they need to select the right service. To help, we’ve compiled some of the most common questions we get asked below. Can’t see the answer you need? Just give our friendly team a call.
Here at Energie Solutions, we offer comprehensive servicing, maintenance and repairs for a wide range of renewable energy technologies, including, but not limited to: air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, exhaust air heat pumps, air conditioning and solar thermal, solar PV and solar thermodynamic systems.
Yes, absolutely! At Energie Solutions, we take pride in being both MCS-accredited and certified installers for most well-known manufacturers. It is common for installations to not only not meet manufacturers’ basic installation instructions and building control requirements, but also best practice standards.
We are finding it common practice across all industries for companies to compete on price and compromise on quality. This results in poor customer care, sub-standard installations and no ongoing support post-installation. As a company, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer support – both pre and post-installation – and will ensure that all work is completed to a very high standard to exceed the requirements of manufacturers and local authorities alike at a cost-effective price.
You are absolutely not under any obligation to have any work carried out by Energie Solutions, especially if there is a liability on the original installer. We encourage customers to contact the original installer to carry out the work, if appropriate. Once the original installer has completed this, we are more than happy for one of our engineers to make a no-obligation visit to independently verify the work at no additional charge to you. This will ensure your installation is fully compliant with manufacturers’ requirements and you are fully protected by the guarantees offered by the manufacturer, if still in warranty.
We offer a 12-month workmanship warranty on all remedial works carried out.
As part of our annual service, we carry out a comprehensive, multi-point inspection of the water quality in your heating system. This involves checking the concentration of any antifreeze fluid, the presence of inhibitor chemicals and the overall assessment of the water quality. The results of these tests are documented in your detailed service report which, combined with manufacturer guidelines and best practices, forms the basis of our recommendations.
We do! We accept all major UK credit and debit cards, excluding American Express and Diners Club. We also accept BACS payments, or you can pay by secure personal online bank transfer.
We can provide up to nine months of interest-free finance through our trusted third-party company. This offer can’t be combined with any other discount.
Unfortunately, a small minority of people treat us as a free credit service, which has resulted in an unsustainable increase in debt recovery costs.
As a company, we work hard to ensure we keep our costs to a minimum so that we can offer maximum value to our customers. By requesting payment in advance, we ensure your money goes towards qualified, trained and competent engineers, rather than covering unpaid debts from other customers.
If you have any concerns regarding paying in advance, then by paying for the service using a credit card (NO additional charges apply), you will immediately qualify for purchase protection under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
