The Team Behind Energie Solutions

Nigel Day – Co-founder and Technical Director

With over 20 years of hands-on industry experience, Nigel is a highly respected expert in the maintenance, diagnostics and repair of all kinds of renewable energy systems. His career began as an electrical contractor before becoming a Governing Body assessor for NAPIT, and this gave him a deep understanding of industry standards and best practices. Throughout his 13+ years with Energie Solutions, he has gained a unique insight into numerous heat pump products and the challenges faced by the average homeowner. Nigel is a constant advocate for better advice, practical solutions and customer protection for when things don’t go right.

As Co-Founder and Technical Director of Energie Solutions, he leads a dedicated team of engineers delivering high-quality service and support across East Anglia. He has appeared on several of The Renewable Heating Hub Podcasts as an industry expert and has contributed to their latest book, ‘The Ultimate Guide to Heat Pumps’.

While away from the tools a little more than he would like, he is currently working on improving installation standards within new build housing developments by launching a breakdown plan that will revolutionise the heat pump after-sales care market.
